Front & Center Public Policy Forums
Front & Center Public Policy Forums provide a unique opportunity for building members in specific regions of LA County to gather with their peers to discuss important policy efforts with City elected and appointed officials. The forums are free to owners and managers, and are limited in size to allow for greater interaction and discussion.
The Front & Center Public Policy Forums are held quarterly in Downtown Los Angeles, Long Beach/South Bay, Westside, San Fernando Valley and Northeast regions. Topics are developed by BOMA/GLA’s Government Affairs Committee.
In 2007, the inaugural year for the forums, the topic for the Westside Front & Center Forum was “WiFi in Public Spaces”, with speakers from the City of L.A.’s Information Technology Agency. In September, members enjoyed a presentation in the Northeast region on “Glendale’s Business Climate: What to Expect from City Hall”. Speakers included the General Managers from both the Development and Planning Departments for the City of Glendale.
